Health Room is staffed with parent volunteers. There are two shifts daily (9:00 to 11:30 am & 11:30 am to 2:00 pm). Parent volunteers are needed to work regular shifts monthly (e.g. first Tuesday each month from 9:00 to 11:30 am) or to fill in on an as needed basis. Please consider volunteering your time. Without parent volunteers, the health room would not be able to operate.

Hospitality - Being involved with the Hospitality program is a great way to get acquainted with the teachers and other parents at Farmington Elementary. We host luncheons for our faculty and provide refreshments at other PTA functions. We are able to provide much needed support and encouragement to our teachers throughout the year. The tasks vary from baking to decorating, as well as preparing holiday treats. Also, volunteers are needed for “Holiday Treat Shop” when special treats are provided for

teachers.

Service Volunteers

• School Tours - Throughout the school year, new families move into our community and wish to see our school. The PTA provides a volunteer to show these families our school.

• Beautification - Farmington Elementary has a nice lawn but it takes some time and volunteers to maintain the flowerbeds. This job includes weeding, pruning, and watering.

• Tutors - Volunteers are needed for various subjects and grade levels throughout the year.
